Ortiva is a willing and competitive partner. A real eye catcher, she always turns heads wherever she goes.

She has a fabulous giving temperament and will make someone their soulmate. She has been started over fences, can do changes, and is ready to go to the top.

She has impressive bloodlines for a future broodmare.

Sire: Exaustivo (can be seen on 'Lusitano Stallions At Stud' page), from the famous Alter Real Stud in Portugal.

Dam: Orquidea Mor, bred in Mexico from impeccable Portugese bloodlines. Grandsire on her Dam's side is the well known POrtugese Stallion, Nilo.

He is very much a one person horse and takes time to trust and bond

with people, however once he does he is very loyal and loving.

He hasn’t really had much done with him this year due to pregnancy and giving birth however he thrives on work and is getting rather bored in the field I think!.

He was diagnosed with djd in his hocks in September 07 however he is not on any medication and his hocks have never caused any problems (he was happy jumping 3ft grids before they were diagnosed) but will probably not pass a vetting because of this hence the price. The more he is worked the happier he is.

An experienced loving 5* star home is needed for this much loved horse and the right person & home is of utmost importance. £1500 inc some rugs.  (Saddle available separately) NO Dealers.

Due to the birth of my first baby I have had to make the

heartbreaking decision to sell my beloved 15.1hh, 12 year old,

Iberian grey gelding, as I do not have the time to give him the

attention he deserves.

He is a very sensitive & intelligent (but loving & affectionate)

horse therefore needs a very quiet, experienced, confident,

adult rider (NOT a novice ride) who enjoys a challenge. He has

competed and won at county level in Iberian classes in hand.

He is very low mileage as was only broken at 7 (full history known),

Although he loves jumping and hacking he would suit someone

interested in dressage and flatwork as he enjoys his lateral work.
